Mr. L made his annual bunny cake and they keep getting better! This year he piped on all the bunny fur and made my new favorite, almond icing. I apologize for all the cell phone pictures- It seems I can get better photos on my camera phone these days. They are clearer and and my phone is usually more easily accessible. My desktop computer is also out of commission... the logic board went bad so we are in the process of figuring out when to order a new one. Luckily the new iMacs just came out :) ANYway that was a total tangent. Easter was really great this year-- we went to the church we've been attending here (http://www.mychurchcolumbus.com/) and had a fantastic brunch with some friends.

Hoppy Easter! (A bit late)

Summer Lovin'
The temperatures here hover around 95 degrees every day, so we have to wait until after 7 in the evening to go for our walkies. Lots of panting and this pose on the kitchen floor always follow. I am impressed though with how well he's done. We consistently walk 2 miles every day, even in the blistering heat and he still loves it. He's only stopped on me a few times.
Helping me make the bed... I swear he's like his cousin Shadow. Every time the sheets come out all fresh and clean, he has to be between them and it's a chore to get him off the bed!!
And this one is just because :) Because he's so handsome and because this shot, from a ride in the car, doesn't happen often in the summer. My car is well over 100 degrees inside and it takes it too long to cool off for him. So summer car rides are on a need-to basis. We've also been to the vet a few times over the past few weeks. Mr. Bo decided to steal some of my chicken wing bones from my plate and so in we went for x-rays. He was totally fine and ended up passing them without any troubles. The latest malady was a healthy case of tapeworms. Yum. He's fine now though. Gotta love my little man!!

Go Braves!
Magic Kingdom 2011
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
We went to Universal's Islands of Adventure for a day and spent most of our time exploring Harry Potter! We rode the new ride and the old ones that had been converted, had butterbeer, and rode on a Hippogriff!
The sorting hat! I actually got a video of it talking... so cool!
Valentine's Day! (A little late...)

I Had to Share...
Nine Words Women Use:
This came from Thrifty101's blog... It was too cute I had to post it!
- Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.
- Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half and hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.
- Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in a fine.
- Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!
- Loud Sigh: This is actually not a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she things you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you abut nothing. (Refer back to #3 for the meaning of nothing)
- That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a woman can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.
- Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here-This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome'. That will bring on a 'whatever').
- Whatever: Is a woman's way of saying DIE A HORRIBLE DEATH!
- Don't worry about it, I'll do it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking "What's wrong?" For the woman's response refer to #3.

Colonial Half Marathon!

These are the professional photos taken by by Carolina Snapshot... Woo Woo! Their website is here:

My time was 2:24, which was 16 minutes faster than what I'd expected. I ran 10 minute miles instead of the 12 minute ones I'd been training at. I felt awesome until the 11th mile when my legs got really sore. I will say I LOVED it and will be racing again sometime soon!!

The Riverwalk
Sorry this is the first photo but I love my Vibram Fivefingers!! I wear them for everything but running and they are fantastic.
View of the river
Bo and Mommy! I'm realizing that puffy vest is not so flattering... Guess that's why they call it puffy!

Self Portrait!
Bo and Daddy! The Riverwalk is in downtown Columbus and is pretty nice. Unfortunately you don't want to be there alone... it's been in the news lately for some not so great things going on. Let's just say a girl at the gym runs there and she carries pepper spray. And one of Mr. L's friends said he only runs there with his side arm. I wish the area could be safer because it's so beautiful. The city says it has a plan in place to boost security... I sure hope they follow up on that. Anyway, it made for a nice little family adventure :)

Snow Day!
View of the whole dog park from one floor down from us, and one apartment to the right. Our apartment is further to the left and up one floor. But the view is pretty much the same.
Three fuzzy butts!
That's Zoe :) She's Bo's favorite...
And #3 is Lila. Can you tell them apart? They came from the same breeder, but not the same litter. Zoe is 2 and Lila is 3. And of course you can see my little ladies man!
Don't they look great together?
Bo doesn't make too many friends, mostly he turns Cujo on other dogs. But these two he likes. This was our "snow" day in Georgia... pictures courtesy of my new friend Kasey :)
